Dr. Hirotomo Ochi, director of research at the Institute for the Control of Aging in Shizuoka, says: "Eggs never seemed to harm Shigechiyo Izumi, who lived to be 120 years old. He ate eggs from the chickens he kept several times a week. Like other Japanese, he used eggs in a variety of ways - in soups, custards and omelets, also by themselves."
